Beautiful weather, absolutely spot-on for riding.  Caught up with a lot of old mates, met some of the Wildcats for the first time (and others for the second or third time).  Was good to match the names to faces, and very nice that people came up to introduce themselves!  Just like the "good old days" of rallying where we all did the campfire crawl to find out who was who at the zoo...  If I don't recognise anyone in future, just throw something at me - I'm absolutely shocking with names and faces.
 
Oh, and if anyone should happen to post a photo up of me *mutter, mutter, bloody people with bloody cameras should have them jamm...*, then rest assured, yes I generally DO look that bad, though the camera makes it worse!    Hey, brains are better than beauty!  
 
BTW - has anyone heard anything about a rider who went down leaving the rally, just before Walcha on a bend?  I left around 9am (I think), and mates left about 10 minutes after me.  They were pulled up in Walcha when a car-driver approached them about this rider, asking if he was with them?  I gather he was in a bit of a bad way.  Hope whoever it was will be okay.  Best wishes to him and his family/mates etc. if anyone knows who it is.
